Destination Washington.


As we get ready to come out of winter hibernation in the Northwest, many of us are already thinking about the summer months. Soon, we’ll begin planning our warm weather adventures with friends and family. Two of Washington State’s most iconic and loved destinations are thinking about summer too. Crystal Mountain Resort (Crystal) and Argosy Cruises (Tillicum Village). Both recently hired EXCLAIM.

This past January, Crystal Mountain Resort launched its new Mt. Rainier Gondola. The only gondola located at a Washington State mountain resort allows visitors year-round access to the summit. We developed new strategy, and created a comprehensive advertising campaign that centers around the gondola and summer activities at the mountain. Work includes a full compliment of advertising, social media and public relations activities. The new campaign will debut in April.

This month, Tillicum Village will launch an entirely new show and experience at Blake Island. We developed new strategy, which included a comprehensive strategic plan and new creative. All of this has allowed us to create an entirely new experience at Tillicum Village, including a brand new show that replaces the 19-year-old program. The authenticity of the storytelling and regalia has been the number one priority, so we worked directly with tribal members from early on in the planning process. The new show purposely utilizes technology and historical live dance to project the native culture as one that has thrived and will continue to thrive in the Northwest. This combination is the most unique and compelling native cultural experience in the United States.
