Side Car - Interviews

Track and follow our Side Car series devoted to Seattle's biggest influencers as they answer questions related to brands, campaigns and themselves. To learn more about these amazing thought leaders, we invite you to check back every Thursday.

Jim Tune ~ President & CEO,
ArtsFund

  1. What do you love about your company's/organization's brand?
It’s short, descriptive and an unusual color.
  2. What aspirations do you have for the future of your brand?
We want our brand to be identified with responsibly making great arts accessible and affordable to all.
  3. Do you see campaigns that inspire or depress you?
The Obama campaign inspired me in its breadth, but that was political. On the nonprofit side, the recent Seattle University Campaign was fabulous. Auctions, on the other hand, depress me.
  4. If you weren't doing what you do now for a living, what is it you would like to be doing?
Theatre criticism has always been a love—so I’d like to do that.
  5. Where is your favorite local spot to take out-of-town guests?
Quite fond of Matt’s at the Market.
  6. If you were to write a book, what would it be about?
Whether fiction or nonfiction, the overriding message would be the importance of transparency and integrity in everything one does: you only have one good name to give up.
